Fusion gets little better this Friday

Thanks a ton to all of you. We crossed the 10K mark and received good number of feedbacks.
This keeps us going. We are back this Friday with more changes. And hope you will like them.
Now you can move Fusion to SD card. This frees up your valuable space.
With this update notification bar will display cover art. And ICS users will also get now playing controls on notification bar as well.
Fusion widget is now bigger. You will get to choose 4*4 widget with transparent back ground.
Keep pouring in your suggestions and comments.
We are committed to make Fusion a better place to enjoy music.

Have a nice weekend
@Team Fusion

  1. Everything else is great, but the sound is not. Lots of click & pop sounds. No such sounds in Winamp or JetAudio. Please work on it. Great piece of sotware, nonetheless.
device : - Samsung Galaxy Ace
    OS : - Android Gingerbread 2.3.6

    2. I've noticed that a few chargers, noteably car chargers, cause lots of funky noises in the background. Possibly that was your issue?

    3. Thanks for trying Fusion.

we have not received any reports related to this so far.
Do you get this background noise when you are listening to Music on Fusion over headset or speaker? Also, for information, have you enabled the equalizer or wave control?

Could you also share the device model that your are using for our reference so that we can try this out at our end?

      Thanks,
      Team Fusion

  2. Hey, I like your interface and the integration. It has the potential of being a great app! Unfortunately, the music output quality is below par. I get a whirring noise while playing songs. It is more noticeable when the songs are paused. Please fix it somehow, I don't want to change this player.

    1. I figured out the cause of the whirring noise. It's to do with the Wave Control settings. When you turn it on, the whirring noise is introduced.

  4. wow! fusion really rocks. great interface.

few annoyances before it becomes a super star..
    1) where is EQ !!? i checked all settings and everywhere cant seem to find!
    2) this is the only application so far that showed any lag Samsung galaxy S3 (international version) so definitely there is a room for speed improvement.my music collection is not massively huge.
3)once you open application there are too many clicks before you can play any song.probably play button bottom of the screen really makes difference.
    4) how do you exit application ? clicking back button does nothing. only way is hitting home button!
few things i like about fusion,
obviously interface, shake control, wave control. well done.

  5. First, thank you for this awesome player, it is now my
    default!

Now a bug.  I have an HTC One X, stock ROM.  I
noticed yesterday, that the album art doesn't change to the
current song/artist when in landscape.  It was on
shuffle at the time.  I'm referring to the iTunes style
carasoul (sp?) view.  It changes fine when in portrait.

Now a request.  Is it possible to allow us to change the
media servers where it gets the album art, etc.?  I had
a couple albums either not recognized, or they had the wrong
cover art.  Fusion also doesn't seem to recognize
artwork already in the album folders.

    Thanks again!

    1. Thanks for trying Fusion and sharing your feedback.

Thanks for sharing your observation about the Carousel view when if shuffle mode. We will have this changed in the next update.

With regards to the album covers, we try to fetch the best matching cover from different sources. However, there are possibilities where it fails. For the ones in which it is not recognized, are the album, artist and song title proper. If not, you could try to edit the album information, and the updated album art would be automatically fetched.

However, we will give an update in future where users would have an option to modify the album art.

Fusion fetches album art only for albums which do not have already have an embedded album art.

Could you share your e-mail ID or just drop in a mail to tightfusion@gmail.com so that we can get some more information regarding these issues and possible options?

      Thanks,
      Team Fusion

  7. I really really need to be able to advance the song by long pressing the volume key. When jogging or riding my bike or motorcycle stopping to advance the song that does not meet my mood is VERY tedious.

  17. As reported by others I've noticed that it distorts with any combination of equalizer settings - so I've disabled it. Also, the player insists on putting me back into Shuffle mode when I want it permanently Off. I'm on v1.1.7. Any updates soon please?
